Amber Solana is an Atlanta-based dance artist, choreographer, and performer who earned her B.A. in Dance with a concentration in Modern from Kennesaw State University. Her training spans Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Improvisation, Contact Improvisation, Partnering, Tap, Bharatanatyam, and more, shaping a movement practice rooted in curiosity, research, and embodied exploration.

Amber’s work centers on investigating movement through performance, choreography, and creative research. Her choreographic work, this form, becoming mine, was presented through Kennesaw State University’s Student Dance Concert Series. She has also shown choreography professionally with interlude at the Fall 4 Fall Dance Festival in Atlanta.

As a performer, Amber has danced in works by Tristian Griffin, George Staib, Anna Bracewell, Autumn Eckman, Andrea Knowlton, Chloe Crenshaw, Maxi Riley, and others. Her performance credits include KSU Dance Company works, the ImmerseATL Artist Showcase, LINK Festival, KSU College of the Arts Gala, Fall 4 Fall Dance Festival, and film work with 4Sight Productions.

In 2025, Amber trained as part of the ImmerseATL Summer Artist Program under Sarah Hillmer, George Staib, and Anna Bracewell, further expanding her creative process through research, play, and collaboration. She has also trained through intensives such as Staibdance Root Theory, LINK Audition Festival with SALT Contemporary Dance, and the Staibdance Summer Intensive in Sorrento, Italy. Amber is a recipient of the Joan Harrell Annual Dance Scholarship and continues to build a multidisciplinary practice that bridges performance, choreography, arts administration, and community engagement.
